Clarins continues to optimize its customer experience with a Unique Customer Reference by Stibo Systems
The beauty brand Clarins, the No.1 high-end skincare brand in Europe, continues to optimize its customer experience through the Master Data Management solution Stibo Systems Enterprise Platform (STEP).
The iconic French company has decided to go further in mastering its customer data through the collection and unified management of omnichannel data. The brand can now know and recognize its customers instantly regardless of the point of contact (physical stores, website, customer service, etc.).
In the long term, this will optimize the quality and integrity of customer information, facilitate GDPR compliance, acquire new prospects, and above all, improve the customer experience across all communication channels.
Concretely, this transformation relies on a technological solution deployed in all the countries where Clarins is present. It aims to clean, deduplicate, and merge contacts into a single database (error detection, email and postal address correction, duplicate detection…) and ensure the synchronization of information system applications in real-time.
To achieve its objectives, Clarins first sought a proven Master Data Management solution on the market, capable of supporting large volumes in real-time while respecting the legislation of the countries where they were present.
After consulting the recognized software solutions on the market, Stibo Systems’ STEP platform quickly presented itself to Clarins as the tool suitable to support the company’s ambitions.
The STEP solution ensures perfect mastery of legal issues that go beyond the scope of the European GDPR. It also guarantees complete traceability of our customers' journeys across all our points of contact. (...) Now, in the pilot scope represented by Spain, when a customer is created on the company’s website, they are automatically integrated into STEP to undergo a series of quality checks and treatments while being simultaneously shared with all customer relationship applications (marketing automation, customer service, etc.).
Building on this first success, Arhis deployed the pilot country, then South Africa, and will continue its deployment in all the brand’s countries in the coming months.
